Our Holiday concert is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday December 13, 2008.

Rehearsals for the Holiday Concert began Thursday October 16th.  Please review the rehearsal schedule, as some rehearsals will be dedicated sectionals, as follows:

October 16, 23 - everyone
October 30 - strings only
November 6 - woodwinds, brass, percussion only
November 13 - everyone
November 20 - strings only
December 4 - everyone
December 11 - no rehearsal
December 12 (Friday) - dress rehearsal at Bacon Academy

Dress for the Holiday Concert:
        Men: White dress shirt; black dress pants; black shoes; black tie optional
        Women: All black dressy/evening clothes; black shoes

Annual dues are now due:  $35 for adults, $15 for students.

Keep the orchestra in mind as you make your way around Connecticut, particularly if you are involved in musical activities.  We are particularly in need of string players, French Horn players, percussionists, and a bassoonist. All others are, of course, always welcome.

If you have any good ideas for venues in Jan/Feb or May/June (our regular spring concert is generally at the beginning of April, but we can work around it for a really good idea), please let us know. We are always looking for new and interesting places to play.
