INFORMATION FOR UPCOMING CONCERT JUNE 13th

Location: Blish Park Pavilion, Marlborough, CT
Date: Sunday, June 13, 2010 Time: 4:30 pm
Musicians Arrive: 4:00 pm
Dress: CCO Polo Shirts or Royal Blue shirts and khaki bottoms (pants, nice shorts, skirt, capris) for Orchestra; White shirt and khaki bottoms for Choir.
Bring:  A chair and a music stand

Parking:  There are 2 parking lots.  We have reserved the park, so parking is free. Encourage your family and friends to bring a picnic.  This is a lovely location to spend a Sunday afternoon/evening.

From Route 66 East (coming from East Hampton)
 • Turn left onto North Main Street at the traffic light in the center of Marlborough. There will be a gas station and 7-11 on the left.
 • Go 1.3 miles, turn right onto Park Road.
 • Go 0.3 miles, the entrance to the parking lot at Blish Park is on the right. From Route 66 West (coming from Hebron)
 • Turn right onto North Main Street at the traffic light in the center of Marlborough. The town green will be on the right and Subway/Dunkin’Donuts plaza on your left.
 • Go 1.3 miles, take right onto Park Road.
 • Go 0.3 miles, the entrance to the parking lot at Blish Park is on the right.

From Route 2 East (coming from Glastonbury)
 • Take exit 13
 • Turn right onto Route 66
 • Turn right onto North Main Street at the traffic light in the center of Marlborough. The town green will be on the right and Subway/Dunkin’Donuts plaza on your left.
 • Go 1.3 miles, turn right onto Park Road.
 • Go 0.3 miles, the entrance to the parking lot at Blish Park is on the right.

From Route 2 West (coming from Colchester)
 • Take exit 13
 • Turn left onto Route 66.
 • Turn right onto North Main Street at the traffic light in the center of Marlborough. The town green will be on the right and Subway/Dunkin’Donuts plaza on your left.
 • Turn right onto North Main Street.
 • Go 1.3 miles, turn right onto Park Road.
 • Go 0.3 miles, the entrance to the parking lot at Blish Park is on the right.

Additional Information

If you haven't yet paid your annual dues, please do; they are $35 for adults, $15 for students, and help fund our new music and costs to hold concerts.

Keep the orchestra in mind as you make your way around Connecticut, particularly if you are involved in musical activities.  We are particularly in need of string players, French Horn players, percussionists, and a bassoonist. All others are, of course, always welcome.
