The CCO is a non-profit organization open to all music lovers, sponsored by the Colchester Parks & Recreation Department. Started in 2002 by conductor John Ringo and his wife Cheryl, we have members from towns all over Connecticut. With members ranging in age from 10 to 70, from students to professional music teachers, the CCO is a true community group!
The CCO is comprised of both an orchestra and a choir. We perform a wide variety of music, from classical pieces such as Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, to Pops pieces such as Harry Potter, present day show stopping hits from Phantom of the Opera, and much more.
If you are planning an event, booking the CCO as your musical entertainment will make it an affair to remember!
Our final concert of the season, Patriotic Pops and More, was held Sunday June 4th at the Colchester Federated Church in Colchester, CT, and featured Larry Gareau playing the Hummel Trumpet Concerto in Eb. We've posted videos on our YouTube channel; simply click on the link above, or on the image below!
